Handcrafted with meticulous care in our cabinet shop in Mashpee, bespoke cabinetry adorns this abode, breathing life into personalized touches and intricate nuances throughout. Embracing the ethos of minimalism, the kitchen cleverly conceals a hidden pantry within what appears to be a cabinet door adjacent to the dual ovens, seamlessly integrating convenience into its design.
Meanwhile, the laundry room showcases vibrant seaside motifs alongside ample storage, transforming mundane chores into delightful tasks. When talking about the design approach, Lorna stated “I sent Susan McCabe, the architectural designer, pictures of my dogs, ideas that I had picked up online, like a cabinet that could be used as a a crate, where to store the food – and Susan came up with the perfect layout.” The result is a room with innovative nooks and a plethora of storage options. With everything checked off Lorna’s laundry list of details to include and more, the finishing touch was the Weeping Pine wallpaper by Schumacher, incorporating Lorna’s favorite color and a touch of the Cape Cod seaside, tying this room to the rest of this custom home’s natural coastal charm.
Descending to the basement unveils further opportunities for entertainment, with a handcrafted entertainment center and wet bar inviting guests to indulge in leisurely pursuits. Outside, the allure of the Cape Cod lifestyle beckons, as a resplendent pool, expansive seating area, and inviting lounge chairs offer idyllic spaces to bask in the sun’s warm embrace.
